Singles puts
Hitsville back in the groove for Motown50 for 2009.
As part of the Motown50 celebrations for 2009 Universal Music are proud
to announce the release of of twenty five limited edition 7" singles
featuring fifty classic cuts. Limited to just 2,000 copies these vinyl
singles will be released in batches of five at a time. The first batch
are scheduled for release in January with further releases planned for
March, May, July and September. Each batch will come with a Motown
spider together with a download card entitling fans to a free digital
download of their purchase. Furthermore, fans who purchase all five
batches of the singles will qualify for a Motown presentation box to
house their records - a truly collectable item.
Millions of fans across the UK grew up listening to the 'Sound of Young
America' and will no doubt testify that Motown music and vinyl records
go hand in hand so this timely release of such vinyl gems is sure to be
sought after by Motown fans and record collectors alike.
