An artist who, twenty five years earlier, had given me so much pleasure as a teenager in Manchester in helping to convert me to a form of music that is as strong for me today as it was then. 'The Sound of Young America' had well and truly took over my life. This interview was conducted backstage at the Floral Pavilion, New Brighton, Liverpool on the evening of Monday 5th December 1994. It was broadcast on 1st January 1995 on my Sunday Soul Club radio programme on Marcher Gold AM / Marcher Coast FM. |
